The Details

We are from different parts of the country and have lived in many different cities with friends and family all over. We want to bring everyone together for an unforgettable soiree.

We'd be delighted if you can join us in NYC for our wedding celebration weekend. We plan on tying the knot at city hall the week prior but would love your presence for a weekend in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We live so far away from a lot of you and don’t get to see you nearly as much as we wish we could, so we’d love to spend the whole weekend celebrating with you.

Williamsburg is a hip and lively neighborhood located Brooklyn which offers chic eateries, trendy shopping and creative spaces. We have called it home for the past five years and would love to share it with you. We hope during some downtime between events you take time to explore the city that we have come to love and call home. There are suggestions of our favorite food & local haunts on the food page.

The Weekend

Thursday October 13, 2022

Join us for welcome drinks at a classic NYC dive bar. Drinks are on us and there will be food available for purchase. The event is from 9-12 but the bar is open until 2am.

Ages 21+

Friday October 14, 2022

The main event! Let’s eat, drink and be merry. Following the dinner we’ll venture upstairs to our apartment and outdoor terrace for drinks, music and possibly some surprises.

Time: 4pm-8pm Dinner

Time: 8pm-late Reception

Attire: Cocktail or Black tie optional, if you’re feeling fancy!

Come back to our terrace for coffee and bagels to discuss the previous nights events.

Sunday October 16, 2022

Looking to continue the party on Sunday? There is tons to do and see in Brooklyn.

Bedford Ave. & N 6th st: The main street in Williamsburg, tons of shopping and food plus excellent people watching.

Greenpoint Terminal Market: Located on a concrete slab next to the east river with picturesque city views, this weekly market has local artists, vintage sellers and food vendors. Also have a DJ and Brooklyn’s best free daytime dance party.

Adult only Celebration

Due to the intimate nature of the venue and event, unfortunately, we can only accommodate a limited number of close friends and family. In order to allow everyone, including parents, a weekend of relaxation, we have chosen for our wedding weekend to be an adult-only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the weekend off!

New York City COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENT

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the City of New York has issued a Public Health Order which requires that patrons of indoor entertainment and recreation venues where food or beverages are served are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The New York City Vaccine Requirement policy requires our venue to check the vaccination status of all patrons age 5 and older. Currently, The Ainslie will not permit entry to anyone 5 and older who has not been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

As we want everyone, including our parents, to feel as comfortable as possible, please test prior to attending. If you are feeling unwell, please let us know.
